Before you book.
We size every install on-site, but as a rule of thumb in Jamaica's climate: a 12×12 ft room (~144 sq ft) needs 9,000–12,000 BTU/h, a 14×14 ft room needs 12,000–18,000, and an 18×18 ft room or open-plan space typically needs 24,000+. Direct afternoon sun, large windows, high ceilings, and extra occupants all add to the load.
A standard residential split unit takes one technician about 4–6 hours. Multi-zone installs or jobs that need scaffolding can run a full day. We give you a window before we start.
Equipment (the unit itself), all standard mounting hardware, copper line set up to 5 m, electrical connection to a nearby breaker, condensate drain, system commissioning, and our 1-year installation warranty. Long line sets, electrical panel upgrades, or scaffolding are quoted separately.
Yes for the start (to confirm placement and access) and the end (for commissioning and walkthrough). You don't need to stay for the middle hours.
